Our award winning shop opened in September of 2008 inside the original animal drawing studio, at the eastern entrance to the Mackintosh building. This beautiful new space stocks a comprehensive range of souvenirs of the building, inspired by Mackintosh’s work, as well as beautiful and affordable contemporary products by a different group of GSA’s students, staff and alumni every year.

With a wide range of locals and visitors visiting the shop each day, there is something here for everyone – from cute colouring pencils, to bright button badges, from luxurious lambswool knits to perfect pearl necklaces, and from gem – like geometric jewellery to huggable hotdogs.

For locals looking to support home-grown talent and invest in their own unique piece of design, and visitors looking to take away an authentic momento of a fantastic visit to our iconic building, a trip to the GSA Shop should be the first stop on any shopping excursion this winter.

THISTLE AWARDS FOR THE GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART
 
The Glasgow School of Art was recently awarded two Thistle Awards for 'Heritage Experience' award (sponsored by Historic Scotland) and 'Retail Tourism' award (sponsored by Bank of Scotland Merchant Services).
